Healthy Pancakes

This recipe makes 4 medium sized pancakes! Double or triple the ingredients to make your desired amount of pancakes! I usually double it for 2 people!

 

What you'll need:

1 ripe banana, mashed

2 eggs, beaten 

2 tbsp Manitoba Milling Co Smooth Milled Flax Seed

2 tbsp Manitoba Harvest Hemp Hearts

1 tbsp ground cinnamon

 

Optional:

2 tbsp quick oats

1/4 tsp baking powder (will give the pancakes more rise)

1/2 tsp vanilla extract

1 scoop of protein powder

-Beat the eggs and mash the banana separately, then add them to the same bowl

 

-Whisk until smooth

 

-Add other ingredients and mix well

 

-Pour the batter onto a hot skillet (you can make the pancakes whatever size you want)

 

-Cook the pancakes until you see bubbles on top and the edges begin to look dry

 

-Flip the pancakes, cook for several more minutes
